The Nandprabha Temple Complex is an amalgamation of art, reverence and devotion. The uniqueness of this temple is the Choumukhi Ashtabhadri Prasad layout. The total area of Nandprabha prasad complex spreads across 1.75 acres and exemplifies an octagon with eight equal sides and includes the Garbha Gruh or the Sanctum Santorum.
With a dream to fulfill one’s Shravak Kartavya, or duty as a Jain believer, the Sheth Parivar took keen interest in researching the temple architecture, and ensured that the project was being installed most appropriately. Shri Chandrakant B. Sompura, a renowned architect from Ahmedabad, devised the main temple layout creating the entire structure in Makrana marble. Architect Shri Jaiprakash Jangid provided his expertise to the floor designs.
With contours, layers, columns and pieces of architectural perfection at hand, the temple construction took almost a decade for completion. |
